Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Argument Equalizer. By creating an account or using the service as a guest, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
What the service does
Argument Equalizer lets two or more people submit opposing positions on a topic of their choice. An AI judge reads the submissions and issues a non-binding verdict intended for entertainment and reflection. The verdict is not legal, medical, financial, or professional advice.
Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
- You may not share an account or impersonate another person.
- If we believe your account has been compromised or is being used to violate these Terms, we may suspend or terminate it.
Content you submit
You retain ownership of the arguments, rebuttals, evidence, and other material you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process, display, and transmit your submissions for the sole purpose of operating the service (including routing them to the AI judge and rendering verdicts).
You represent that you have the right to submit what you submit and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
Acceptable use
You must not submit content or use the service to:
- Harass, threaten, defame, or discriminate against any person or group.
- Publish hate speech, sexual content involving minors, or content that promotes violence.
- Share personal information about someone without their consent.
- Publish material that infringes intellectual-property rights.
- Circumvent rate limits, probe for vulnerabilities, or attempt to access accounts you do not own.
- Submit malware, spam, or automated (bot) content.
We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion and without prior notice.
Reporting
If you see content that violates these Terms, report it from the verdict page or email support@argumentequalizer.com with the room code and a short description. We review reports and remove content that clearly violates these Terms.
Intellectual property
The Argument Equalizer name, logo, and the service itself are owned by us. These Terms do not grant you rights to them beyond using the service as intended.
Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy of verdicts, or fitness for any particular purpose. Verdicts are AI-generated output and may contain errors.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve months before the claim.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect the service.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
